IntraPoint is committed to protect and respect your privacy in compliance with EU- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, dated April 27th 2016. This Privacy Statement applies to the use of our products and to our sales, marketing and customer contract fulfilment activities.
1 Who is IntraPoint
IntraPoint is a global supplier of leading-edge lifecycle management solutions for enterprises and organizations across a wide range of vertical industries. IntraPoint has leveraged more than 15 years of research and development and demonstrated experience to create the world’s most advanced operational resilient and crisis management solutions available on the market today.
2 Types of personal information being processed
When you are a customer with IntraPoint, we will keep your personal professional contact information (including name, company address, phone number, and email address). We also store email and other written communications we receive from you, including feedback you provide about your customer relationship, our service offer, our customer service, or the like. When using the services we provide (eg Incident-, Crisis- or Business- Continuity Management Solutions), information about usage, navigation, internet connection, technical equipment, and devices are automatically registered by our functional tools and technical logs.
3 Use of subcontractors
To the extent that IntraPoint is using subcontractors with access to personal information, e.g. for hosting or maintenance of our website, IntraPoint has entered into a data processing agreement with such subcontractors. The data processing contract agreement ensures that personal data are processed in accordance with the Personal data act and IntraPoint instructions.
4 How do we protect your information
IntraPoint has adopted internal information security rules. The rules include instructions and actions that protect your personal information against loss, modification, unauthorized publication and unauthorized access. Personal information is stored on restricted-access servers, servers are located in controlled server rooms and security measures are checked on a continuous basis. Personal data are deleted when the objective with the collection of the data has been reached.
5 Individual rights
The following lists key individual rights of any person using the IntraPoint website.
The person:
- is entitled to full disclosure of and insight into the personal data IntraPoint has stored about the individual.
- is entitled to claim any information corrected or deleted, if it appears that the information or data processed about a person is in any way incorrect or misleading.
- may object at any time to the disclosure of information about him/her.
- Is entitled to revoke any existing consent for the use of personal data.
- has the opportunity to complain about the processing of information and data regarding him/her.
6 IntraPoint as a data processor
IntraPoint processes information about our customers’ employees and other information on behalf of our customers. This privacy statement does not cover IntraPoint’s processing of personal information performed on behalf of our customers. The processing of personal information by IntraPoint as the data processor is done in accordance with the signed contract between the parties, including the data processing agreement between IntraPoint and IntraPoint customers.
